Visited the restaurant for a family evening meal mid week. The bar and restaurant areas were beautifully decorated for Christmas with an open coal fire and it was very cosy and welcoming. The menu had something to suit all tastes and prices very reasonable, the food was generous portions and piping hot. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, would recommend.

Really nice hotel+pub (or is it pub+hotel?). Staff are very friendly and the pub was excellent. The hotel is a recently built structure of twenty odd rooms laid out in two floors, the lower one opening directly onto the ground and the upper floor accessed via stairs and a balcony. This makes it feel more like a holiday home than a hotel.
